Just how useful is Kindle?

Well, for starters, with the assistance of Project Gutenberg, you can get more than 75% of the high school reading list offered by The Well-Trained Mind curriculum for free.

On this page, we offer legal download links for all of the public domain books on the list we were able to locate. Most of the books published after 1930 are not public domain and cannot be offered legally, and there are some essays and fragments of reading that Gutenberg does not offer, but stay tuned—in a short time, we intend to offer our own downloads for the texts we weren’t able to get from PG.

Original reading list can be found here.
