Mystery of History

Many homeschool moms like to unbind homeschool curriculum like this Mystery of History and put it in a 3-ring binder for easy access.  I did this with all my Konos volumes and it makes them so much easier to use!

1. Many curricula have worksheets or coloring pages, or notebooking pages included that are to be copied for each of your students. It is so much easier to remove a page from a binder like this and copy it flat than it is to copy a page still bound inside your book.

2. I like to put one unit, chapter, or module in a ‘small’ binder when it is the unit we are working one. That way I don’t have a big heavy binder to lug around. When we finish that unit, I can put it back in the larger binder and replace it with the next unit for the smaller binder.

3. The curriculum looks nice in a binder. The cover is made to be the first page. It is made of heavier paper and helps protect the pages. Likewise the back of the cover is put at the end of the book and it keeps the pages looking nice. Some binders have a clear plastic sleeve on the  outside where you can slip the cover page in and have your binder identified with the true cover of the curriculum.

4. Binder pockets come in handy for keeping additional materials at hand. Most binders come with built in pockets inside for keeping up with loose papers.
