Year-round Homeschool

The homeschool schedule I like the best is 4 or 5 weeks of school and then taking a week off. We allowed extra time off at Christmas and during the summer. I would look ahead at the calendar and roughly plan for 36 weeks of school. As we proceed through our school year, we are flexible with the weeks off. We may take the week off earlier or later than planned as things come up that will keep us from getting school lessons done.
