The Abeka curriculum provides homeschools with high-quality textbooks and teaching aids that honor God. ,The homeschool community has found Abeka materials to be easily adapted to homeschool even though Abeka curriculum was developed for Christian School classrooms. It has been said that while Abeka is comprehensive, it isn’t very engaging. It all depends on your child whether Abeka Language Worktexts are a good fit. Children that are visual learners and don’t mind doing daily workbook assignments will probably like Abeka Language. I hear from families that love Abeka and just as often I hear from those who feel that Abeka leads to burnout and is too much like traditional school in its approach.
