Saxon Algebra 1

Our cat Frankie loves to get on Jonathan's Saxon Algebra 2 books.  He loves to be the center of attention so he plops down on Jon's books whenever he needs attention. Anyone who has a cat knows that they can be a very big distraction to a student who is trying to learn a new Saxon math lesson. Concentration goes out of the window.

Jonathan is our fifth "child" to use this Saxon Algebra 2  set of books.  We have an older edition and textbook is a hardcover. Having all the Saxon Math books through Advanced Math has been economical for us since we are getting five years use out of each set.  That is just $10-$15 each year. What's more, I have sold some of the earlier grades like Saxon 54 for $15 - $25 dollars after we used them for so long.

That's a lot of links, but I've heard that my visitors find it convenient to go straight to the level that they need, so I have included links to each grade or level.

Every family is different, so what works for us might not be right for your child. Some of the other popular math curricula such as Math U See and Singapore Math are listed for browsing on our Homeschool Math Curriculum page.
